My throat hurts and i don't have a cough or a runny nose. it hurts to swallow. i took a photo and the tonsil is kinda looking inflamed. what can i do to appease this pain? already gargled a salt solution and bactidol?

This is a non-specific symptom. Instead of self diagnosis best is to see your doc/ ent whichever is sooner. You are doing the right thing s and may add Ibuprofen while you wait to be seen. Good luck
