Throat pain: Throat pains on swallowing and coughing may mean the possibility of a tonsil issue or chronic sinus infection. The fact that you do not have a fever reduces the chance of tonsillitis. There are other questions that need to be answered like the length of time that has been occurring and if there is any issues with swallowing liquids or solids. Would recommend further physical examination with an md.
