Is it possible to forensically date a diffuse axonal injury (dai) with mri? even just approximate date range? how long will a dai show on mri? once a person suffers a dai, will it show on mri for the rest of their life? or is dai presence temporary?

mri changes / findings will show the current situation of a finding. If it is repaired (healed) it will show that when it happens- if worse -the that. DAI healing will depend on cause and treatment. Good luck
