This is a very low risk activity since the blade used for the shaving was a new blade. The HIV virus would not live very long on the blade handle and the blade handle has a low risk of touching you in the cut area. HIV cannot be transmitted through above mentioned mechanism unless fresh contaminated blood on it, the blade was new, just changed in your case. There is still a risk for transmission for other germs and the wound should be watched closely until healed.
