Drug expiration dates do not mean they become ineffective or more toxic, only that longer times have not been studied. Virtually all drugs retain their potency and safety long after the expiration date, assuming they haven't been serious mishandled, like long periods in a very hot environment (like in a car in a hot climate for long periods). Your monistat should work just fine.
