Fluconazole?: Recurrent or persistent yeast infections are fairly common. First check w/ the doctor to confirm the diagnosis of recurrent yeast and get checked for underlying problems that can cause it, especially diabetes. Then ask about the possililty of periodic treatment (usually once a week) with fluconazole (Diflucan) by mouth, which usually is effective in preventing recurrent symptoms. Good luck!
