is going gluten, sugar, and dairy free a good idea for type one diabetics?

Dr. David Sneid

If you like it...: But it won't either help or hurt you. A good, healthy well-balanced diet and daily exercise is much more important than any specific restriction. Gluten restriction is only important if you're gluten sensitive and the same with dairy if you're lactose intolerant. You can't avoid sugar since it's in all the foods you eat.
