It's fine: More intense cardiovascular workout is fine, especially since you are not talking about running a marathon - then i would always use a buddy system and have someone with me. But a 15 minute jog is fine. If you have history of hypoglycemic episodes, just make sure you eat and drink a little bit before your jog and make sure you tuck your glucose tablets in your sock in case you feel shaky.

Both are good: Staying in good health and regular exercise benefit all people, including those with insulin-dependent (type 1) diabetes. Both mild (e.g., walking) and moderate (e.g., jogging) exercise are helpful, but keep in mind that your body uses more sugar during more vigorous exercise, so keeping an eye on your blood sugars and knowing how it responds to different types of exercise is important.
