Yes: However, both the "d" in clariten d and the Maxalt (rizatriptan) mlt can cause a feeling of a pounding heartbeat, so beware of this possible side effect. In fact whenever you mix medicines, they can increase some side effects.

I had a headache from 4 pm - 5 am. I didn't take anything. I took Excedrin around 4 am but it didn't help. Then I took Maxalt (rizatriptan) MLT around 5 am and it helped. Can you take Excedrin and Maxalt (rizatriptan) for migraine?
A lot of times before I get an actual headache I feel malaise. When is the appropriate time to take Maxalt (rizatriptan) or ibuprofen? Or wait it out?
