A high B12 level is likely a reflection of what you ate just prior to having the level checked. It is excreted in the urine so your body will get rid of the excess, assuming normal kidney function. A low B12 levels is more concerning as this can cause anemia. Often, there is no specific reason for geographic tongue and it often resolves on its own but can take a long time.
