Oct scan and dilated exam for new spots in vision 9 days ago that looked like floaters or after images. scan was normal as was retinal exam. but now i have new gnat floaters rain down. would oct have detected a macula issue? retinal tear?

They can usually be seen on the dilated exam. Make sure there are no gnats around ;-) Are they more likely to appear in bright light?

Had PVD 4 years ago. Recently had a new black floater so saw optho for dilated exam and OCT which were normal. Would these tests have picked up retinal or macular problems. The floater has disappeared now and doc said it was debris. Thoughts please?
Had OCT scan and dilated retina exam 9 days ago for spots in rt eye. All normal. Seeing spots like after images that fade almost like a migraine aura does. Mostly happens going dark to light. Visible even with eye closed. What is happening. Scared?
If optho took a picture of my eyes, could she see retinal detachment of this? She said image shows macula, optic nerve, etc?
History of bad dry eye, floaters & sometimes flashes in 1 eye. Ophthalmologist dilated & put a device directly on eye to look for retinal tears. Found None. Flashes are gone for now. Will this ultimately lead to detachment?
It was small spot often gets opaque when I see. now it grew a bit larger circle through which I see light greenish images. Rest of the field is normal. Opthalmologist dialated n said it is floater and prescribed some vit. suppl and a lubricant eye drops.
