8 days ago i had a retinal tear preceeded by a shower of a zillion pepper flakes . i had cryopexy to repair the tear. but the gnat floaters are still hanging around. will they eventually float to the bottom. tear was at 12 o clock position?

If the retina repair was successful then most of the floaters will disappear in the near future. Good luck.

Floaters may be reduced in time, many weeks and months. Decrease symptoms by wearing either mildly tinted eyeglasses or sun glasses. As you get older, (that's a good thing), the formation of a cataract will also reduce the visualization of the floaters (that's inevitable!
