A member asked:

Other than prostate cancer what medical conditions would cause frequent urination at night in a 60 year-old male who does not have bph?

Urinary tract infection (UTI) is most likely cause. This typically includes acute and/or chronic cystitis, prostatitis, and urethritis, which would require treatment with antibiotics. Other potential causes include mass effect from adjacent structures, such as rectal cancer. Please see your medical provider for definitive diagnosis.
