My glucose is 121 and my creatinine is 1.53 and my egfr is 59 dose that mean i have diabetes and is it affecting my kidneys and do i need to get medication to get it under control?

Fasting serum glucose has to be above 125 x 2 times for meeting the criteria of diabetes mellitus. However, some patients may have type 2 DM with normal or near normal fasting glycemia when they have severe hyperglycemia after a meal. You need a HbA1C or post prandial glycemia done for ruling out this clinical entity. There is not enough info to conclude if you've diabetic kidney disease or not.

No.One glucose reading does not diagnose Diabetes. There are other tests for it (A1C) etc. So please ask your doc about cause of BU*N and creat. numbers. Good luck
