My glucose is 121 and my creatinine is 1.53 and my egfr is 59 dose that mean i have diabetes and is it affecting my kidneys and do i need to get medication to get it under control?

Fasting serum glucose has to be above 125 x 2 times for meeting the criteria of diabetes mellitus. However, some patients may have type 2 DM with normal or near normal fasting glycemia when they have severe hyperglycemia after a meal. No.One glucose reading does not diagnose Diabetes. There are other tests for it (A1C) etc. So please ask your doc about cause of BU*N and creat. numbers. Good luck
