You may suffer from reflex sympathetic dystrophy, a type of complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS), after a crushing injury without bone fracture. This syndrome can persist for months or longer after the injury. However, you may still benefit from an orthopedic evaluation and MRI of the hand should be done if you only had plain hand X-rays previously. Good luck.
