Not sure: Most likely your doctor was concerned about carpal tunnel but that would not affect blood supply. See a hand surgeon (usually an orthopedic doctor).

Hand specialist: You may need to see a hand specialist which could be either an orthopedic fellowship trained doctor or a plastic and reconstructive surgeon with fellowship training in hand surgery. The vascular doctor would probably not be suitable for this. Hope this helps and best of luck. I know of a few hand specialist in tx if you need a referral.

See below: This sounds like avascular necrosis of one the carpal bones of your wrist which is often secondary to trauma. You will need to see an ortho.
