Should a jammed finger still be stiff and sore at the knuckle after a month? knuckle is stiff and sore and cannot make a fist. very painful. had x-rays and no broken bones. could this be a ligament or tendon issue? also have trouble gripping and apply

You : You could have a tenosynovitis and not necesarily , a splint might be enough to have your body heal it. You need to be evaluated to consider if that is the diagnosis and the benefits of a lical injection if tenosinovitis or trigger finger is the diagnosis , other diagnosis could be considered like d Quervain's , but i don t have enough info to be able to extend on the answer.
