Would epididymitis resolve completely after just 3 days of amoxicillin? had consistent and sudden pain and tenderness in left testicle on sunday that was resolved by tuesday. was on amoxicillin 500mg, twice daily for an ear infection at the time?

It would be very unusual for epididymitis pain to entirely clear that quickly. And if amoxicillin were effective against the cause of a testicular infection, it would not have begun while taking amoxicillin. This makes epididymitis an unlikely cause of the pain.

Unfortunately often testicular pain is treated as epididymitis by some non-Urologists 'Also the drug of choice for it is not amoxicillin. I am glad you are better. Pl start wearing a good support underwear- it might help
