Ear infection for 6 days, amoxicillin for 4 days. iddm. now occipital glands are swollen and sore. do i need to see the dr again?

You can wait : Occipital glands are lymph nodes that drain the ear and can become swollen due to an infection and even after the infection subsides it takes a while before they subside in size After you finish your antibiotic course you can certainly see your doctor as a follow up

Yes: Yes, sounds like infection may not be under control. Sounds like you need to watch your blood sugars closely as well.
