Can infection in the epididymitis or elsewhere in the groin cause scrotal sac/testicle pain and soreness but not be detected by ultrasound or urinalysis? have had my urine tested with an us, both of which were negative for infection?

Ultrasound is not a test for infection. It can rule out swelling and tumors etc. Pl try wearing a good support underwear you will feel a lot better. If not pl see a Urologist.
