It is not uncommon to injure the gum during brushing which results in blood in your spit and on the brush. However, if bleeding happens every time you brush your teeth then you either have a gingival disease or a blood clotting disorder. Yes, you can reuse your brush after rinsing it well when it is tainted with blood. Good luck.

Because you had a fear of dentistry you neglected to practice good oral hygiene and now have gum disease. Your gums bleed because they are inflamed and you need to see a dentist for a treatment plan. Make sure you use a soft toothbrush and wash off any blood and change every three months.

Rinse t’ rush thoroughly after use and allow to air dry. Replace every 3 months. Your untoward anxiety lead to physical damage, you now have treatable gum disease. PLEASE see Dentist ASAP for appropriate care and individualized oral hygiene instructions.
