Can i get infected with hiv if i step on a tiny piece of metal or piece of needle (assuming it has hiv-infected blood on it)? i stepped on something with my barefoot (feel stingy) but i can't find neither what i have stepped on nor visible wound?

HIV cannot be transmitted through above mentioned mechanism unless fresh contaminated blood on the edge, the virus does not live on inanimate surfaces or in the air. There is still a risk for transmission for other germs and the wound should be watched closely until healed.
