One of my toenails are almost no longer connected to the skin it wasnt injured or anything what could be causing this ?

Is the mail “normal” looking being clear ? Does the mail have a fungus infection? Could the shoe have rubbed the nail? More information is needed. Not usual for a toe mail to just fall off. No other unusual signs or symptoms ? Have examination by podiatrist or family doctor.
