Ingrown Nails: See a podiatrist for proper care. Usually caused by cutting nail in corners instead of straight across but truma could cause it and improper fitting shoes as well.

Toenails: From your description it sounds like ingrown nails that may be complicated with bacterial infection or fungal infection. Seek the help of a podiatrist . Good luck !
