Yes, adding Hctz 25 mg (I assume) to Losartan 100 mg may increase BUN & Creatinine about 10 to 20%. I guess your baseline BUN/Creatinine were not optimal (BUN 22-25 & Creat 1.2 -1.3, approximately). The reason is because of the interaction between a slightly lower volume & med's adverse effect and a lower renal perfusion due to better BP with new med. This change is due to med, not a renal injury.
