Why do my kidneys only hurt at night. my doctor did a urinary test and it showed that i was dehydrated no infection?

If you are talking about back pain, perhaps that is musculoskeletal and not from your kidneys. Sometimes, the perception is that something hurts more at night because you are less distracted/busy so your mind focuses on it more. Does it hurt more in certain positions? If so, that is more likely musculoskeletal, Physical therapy might help. Good luck!

Most of the time back pain is misconstrued as 'Kidney' pain. Simultaneous pain in the kidneys is rare. Dehydration does not cause kidney pain. No other abnormal urinary findings is another indication that it is not from the kidneys try local heat and OTC Ibuprofen. If not better have back checked. Hope you do well
