Do Urinalysis/Cultur: You need to have a urinalysis and urine culture to find out the bacteria causing the infection.Most of UTIs are caused by EColi In healthy people many mild infections will cure spontaneously without antibiotics But those with symptoms of pain and frequency with/without blood in urine and those with frequent recurrences need to be treated with appropriate antibiotics
