No, its not: Endometritis can be diagnosed by physical exam alone, but is usually a serious infection requiring antibiotics. Smoking is never good for you, decreases blood flow, which is not good for either resolving infections or promoting healing. If your doctor did not recommend treatment, make an appointment with another gyn for a second opinion. It is often caused by gonorrhea/chlamydia and is serious.
