Is there a difference between monistat brand and equate brand?

These are entirely different. Monistat contains an anti-yeast antibiotic and is used to treat vaginal yeast infections. Some Equate products are corticosteroids, which can make yeast infections worse. If you think you have a yeast infection, use only the Monistat. Even better to see a doctor for accurate diagnosis.
