There : There are two things going on. For one the vaginal mucosa is inflammed from the yesst infection, two the medication can further irritate the very delicate vaginal tissue. Both of these things can contribute to the light bleeding. For the future consider over the counter Clotrimazole vaginal cream which may not be as irritating as the monistat, or visit your doctor for an oral mediction. Take care.
