Symptoms: If your symptoms resolve you can trust that the infection is gone. If not, you need to be seen for testing to be sure that this is a yeast infection and not something else. More of the same medicine won't help. If it is yeast, it is likely resistant to monistat and a different medicine is needed. Hope this helps.
