In general, yes, as long as there are no liver issues. If it is for a very young child, then you can check with a pediatrician first. It is sometimes a good idea to alternate giving one and then the other so they can be given a medicine more frequently (for example, if each can be given every 4 hours, you can give a med every 2 hours by alternating them). Yes, but I often find it less than worthwhile. Ibuprofen seems more effective & has a longer duration of effect. I also find a heat source like a warm water bottle or heating pad at low levels can provide comfort when applied to the ear side of the head & controlled by the kid.
