I slipped on the ice yesterday & hit the back of my head, i had a headache after & took tylenol. today i'm having neck, back, & shoulder pain. i'm a little worried about getting a concussion. is it safe to take ibuprofen?

To minimize chance of delayed intracranial bleeding, I'd avoid anti-inflammatory meds like ibuprofen and take Tylenol, according to instructions, to relieve headache and strains of muscles. Alternate cold& hot compresses for these. Consult your MD if symptoms don't improve or if any excessive drowsiness, worsening headache, nausea, vomiting,confusion,visual symptoms or other neurological symptoms.
