The diagnosis of lupus requires a combination of clinical findings paired with certain lab values. There is no one lab test that unequivocally clinches the diagnosis. I think it would be worthwhile for you to consult a rheumatologist at the dept of rheumatology at a university hospital near you for evaluation and advice. If you do,bring records of tests with you.
