Afrin contains a chemical that acts directly on capillaries to constrict them. Used infrequently it can provide good relief. Used too much and you damage the capillaries & they leak constantly=boggy nose. Yes you can use Flonase daily. However, your best action is to stop putting in chemicals that have damaged the capillaries. Stop & give it 3 weeks (Flonase), no saline either & get your life back

I prescribed prednisone 20 mg twice a day for five days, then switched patient to flonase twice a day for one to two weeks. Good luck
