Having a cardiac spect test or nuclear med cardiac test stress and test for vasospastic angina. i take amlodipine 5 mg twice daily and isosorbide mononitrate 20 mg twice daily. doc said stop both 48 hours prior. is that enough for long acting ccb?

For those medications at those doses, assuming you metabolize the medications normally, that would be enough time to have them stopped for this test. Good luck with your testing!

I take Imdur (isosorbide mononitrate ER) 60 mg every morning. I alwyas take it exactly at 10am and Ive never altered more than about 30 minutes. Is there still a chance I develop tolerances ? I have vasospastic angina?
