Doctor wants to to a cardiac stress test. i take amlodipine for coronary spasm and beta blocker for arrhythmia control. i also take losartan for hbp. i still have chest pain. will this test yield value or no since i cant stop the medications ?

Chest pain with your scenario does warrant further investigation and the stress test seems reasonable for it will give your doc further info. re. treatment. Hope you do well

Good afternoon doctors. I had a cardiac EKG and cardiac echo which were both normal. I had a nuclear stress test last December which was also good. Occasionally I still get mild chest pains....what might be causing these? Should I be going to the ER?
