I have lost 32 pounds unintentionally in the last eight weeks. i have extreme abdominal pain in my epigastric area. almost constant nausea and a complete loss of appetite. change in stool negative ct in er; gi didnt find anything in egd, waiting bx?

It is good you went to GI. If the EGD did not show anything, they need to keep looking to find the etiology of your symptoms. Perhaps you will need a colonoscopy next if the biopsy doesn’t give the answer. So, follow upon with the GI doctor. Good luck to you!

All worrisome symptoms, further dedicated imaging targeting pancreas, small bowel and liver will be needed in case EGD remains non diagnostic pending biopsy. Your gi doc will be best to further coordinate, work up might need to extend past gi pathology.
