Strain: Your normal tests are reassuring that there is no serious pathology. You may have strained abdominal or rib cage muscles or the diaphragm or even had microtears that have not fully healed. I assume you're not experiencing digestive, hiatal hernia or reflux symptoms. If lower chest distress persists, without digestive symptoms, consult a chest surgeon for an opinion.
