Mid & left epigastric discomfort for 2-3 years, progressive to all day everyday now. ct, us, upper gi series, abd xr, egd all normal. hida scan ef 20% in may, hida scan again in sept ef 2%. can biliary dyskinesia cause symptoms not on right side??

It is conceivable that biliary dyskinesia may cause mid epigastric pain through biliary reflux, however other causes, including gi and/or non gi related cannot be ruled out specifically for left sided abdominal pain. You best reference remains your gastroenterologist in trying to sort them out, keeping ( and revising with your gi) a log of circumstances affecting the pain should help.
