Cholecystitis: Chronic cholecystitis or gallbladder stones/sludge associated with symptoms of pain, bloating, belching and nausea is a reason to see a surgeon for a surgical consult. Okay to ask your doc to send you to as surgeon. In the majority of cases, an outpatient laprascopic gallbladder removal will be helpful to the patient. Take a friend with you. Be well.
