Internal hemorrhoids are the most common cause but other serious conditions need to be ruled out at your age. You have to see a gastroenterologist as soon as possible for a colonoscopy or at least a sigmoidoscopy. Good luck.

Although the most common reasons for seeing blood in the stool would be hemorrhoids or an anal fissure, it cannot be assumed that that is the cause. Given your age, it is very important to get checked out for other potential causes of weeding, such as: polyps or colon cancer. Do not delay getting This evaluated. Good luck.
