: Lymph node is rarely causing aching pain except a reactive lymph node may be tender when palpating it. I am not sure what you have but almost for sure it is not a malignant lesion. The bump could be a boil, infected cyst, etc. See your doctor for a definite diagnosis but you should not worry at all. Good luck.
