Son, 36 has constant feeling of slight pressure, not pain, under right rib for 18 months, never gets worse , no effect from any food, 2 cbc/urine tests are perfect, doc examined and said not concerned, what could cause this for so long?

Because of the chronicity of your son's symptom, I would be more reassured if CT scan of the chest & abdomen is negative. Certain medical condition in that area may not cause any abnormality in routine blood and urine tests. However, I doubt of any life-threatening condition because his symptom has not worsened for 18 months. Good luck.
