A member asked:

Elevated iga of 421 with ife interpretation of an iga monoclonal immunoglobulin without a corresponding light chain. is this cancer? i've lost over 100lbs in 1 year, have anemia, petechiae, diarrhea angiomas, lymphadenopathy, pain in ulq abdomen?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

There is no evidence of a bone marrow malignancy such as multiple myeloma, AL amyloidosis or macroglobuinemia. However,I'm sure you're being evaluated by a hematologist for the anemia, petechiae, lymphadenopathy & discomfort in the area where your spleen is located. More testing is needed. The hematologist is best to continue the workup& advise you.
