Yes: Rest is fine. As are nsaids (ibuprofen or alleve). If this helps anfd the pain resolves it was probably nothing. If the pain persists, or worsens, you should be seen. If it is rapidly getting worse you should head to er.. Pain associated with other symptoms (nausea, fevers, etc) is more likely to b serious. Pain that resolves after a bowel movement (constipation) or after a few days (strain?).
