Muscle insertion : Suspect this is a tear at the tendon insertion to the Painful bone. Tensions are slow to heal, and if you are continuing to aggravate it with Lifting technique or posture, this would explain the continued pain. Reduce your lifting load, check your posture (stand against a wall with heels and back of .head touching, interlock fingers holding knuckles against forehead and retract elbows to the wall)
