These sound like enlarged lymph nodes. Most of the time, these are benign but the only way to know for sure is to have a biopsy. Once the biopsy is done, a sample is sent to pathology and then the pathologist will be able to see if it is benign or not. Best of luck to you!

The response to antibiotics suggests a possible infectious/inflammatory cause for the lymph node enlargement, the current plan that includes a needle aspiration and a biopsy should clarify, make sure your current doc is aware of the new lump.
