I have a lump on the right side of my neck above my collar bone. i've had it for many years no changes. doc said not to worry but i do. biopsy?

Lump: this may be a lymph node or a benign mass like a lipoma, or even a cyst. I would recommend you seeing a general surgeon and have it evaluated. A Doppler may rule out being vascular in nature

If you are still: worried after your doctor told you not to worry, then get a second opinion. An ENT or head & neck surgeon would be able to evaluate your condition.
