: This thyroid nodule does not have many features of a malignant nodule. I also assume you are euthyroid (normal TSH and T4). I wonder why CT of the neck is ordered but not fine needle biopsy just to rule out thyroid malignancy. Most likely you just have a benign, inactive thyroid nodule. Good luck.

This thyroid nodule does not have many features of a malignant nodule. I also assume you are euthyroid (normal TSH and T4). I wonder why CT of the neck is ordered but not fine needle biopsy just to rule out thyroid malignancy. Most likely you just have a benign, inactive thyroid nodule. Good luck.
